To show support for Lucy’s family and raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Johnson Student Council asked all staff and students to wear YELLOW on Tuesday, September 29th.
Childhood cancer affects so many families, including one of our own. Lucy, a BICO Student from Stoughton, enrolled in the STAP 2 Program at Johnson School in Mrs. Messier’s class. Lucy was 8 years old when her 3-year-old baby sister, Teddie, was diagnosed with brain cancer. It has been a long journey, but Teddie is now in remission and doing great!
