February’s edition of the Bi-County Collaborative Professional Speaker Series served up something truly refreshing—literally.
We were honored to host Ron Waddell, founder of Legendary Legacies, Inc., along with his two incredible sons, Joshua and Isaiah Waddell, the powerhouse pair behind Lemonade Bros. At just 6th and 7th grade, these young entrepreneurs are not only running a business—they’re pouring heart, purpose, and philanthropy into every cup.
It all began with a book—The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. Inspired by the story and their love of community (and citrus), Joshua and Isaiah decided to turn the pages into action. And so, Lemonade Bros was born: a handcrafted artisan lemonade stand with a mission that’s as bold as their passion fruit flavor.
From their original recipe to unique spins like mango and dragonfruit, Lemonade Bros has been a hit. But what makes their venture truly extraordinary? They donate 50% of their profits to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Worcester. That’s not just sweet—it’s courageous compassion in action.
As if that weren’t powerful enough, their father, Ron, brought a deeper message to the event. As the founder and executive director of Legendary Legacies, Inc., Ron shared his mission to “Disrupt the Generational Cycles of Incarceration, Poverty, and Violence” by mentoring and equipping young men to find their purpose and live their passion. His work, like his sons’ lemonade, is handcrafted—driven by love, leadership, and a desire for lasting change.
Students at Bi-County Collaborative not only learned about business, purpose, and community impact—they got to taste it. And let’s just say, the reviews were five stars across the board.
Thank you to the Waddell family for reminding us that age is no barrier to impact, and that when life gives you lemons…you can uplift a whole community.
