Bi-County Collaborative’s home-based service program is designed to provide in-home behavioral support services to students and their families—addressing each student’s individual needs and assisting family members in using and implementing these strategies into their daily routine.
Each individual home-based service plan is based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. It is developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based on the results of a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). Recommendations are made for direct service with an ABA therapist and consultation time by the BCBA.
The home-based program typically works on the following skills in the home:
- Language/Communication
- Self-help Skills/Activities for Daily Living(ADL)
- Social/Play Skills
- Behavioral Deficits and Excesses
- Generalization/Maintenance of School Programs
