The Bi-County Collaborative offers Transportation Network services for 13 participating school districts. The network consists of both BICO member and non-member school districts.  

The purpose of the Transportation Network is to provide dependable transportation to meet the needs of special education students to and from school as well as transportation for programs and activities scheduled during the school day.

The benefit of the Transportation Network is having access to combining routes from participating districts to achieve the most cost effective model. The Bi-County Collaborative Transportation Network has an exclusive vendor contract who services all 13 participating districts’ transportation needs. Over 325 students are transported on a daily basis.

The school business managers from all participating school districts meet on a quarterly basis to review and discuss transportation needs and adjust contracts with vendors on an as needed basis.
