Professional Development Offering for Paraprofessionals
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Course provides 40 hours of direct
instruction in the teaching techniques and strategies of Applied Behavioral Analysis
(ABA). The RBT course is based upon the Registered Behavior Technician Task List
2nd Edition and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT
After 40 hours of instruction, each participant will need to complete a competency assessment in their school district under the supervision of a district BCBA. This opportunity provides meaningful and sustained professional development and growth for paraprofessionals and teacher assistants working with students on the
This course will be taught by Bi-County Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
AND is required for RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). The program is offered independent of the BACB. Course is also blended to include online portions.

$400 for BICO member districts ($500 for non-members)

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. A full refund, less the $25 cancellation fee, will be provided if the cancellation is made prior to the start of the second class. After the second class, no refund will be processed.
